PRINCIPAL: Give him a break

Mr. Smith,

I don’t understand the logic of questioning the leadership of a veteran who served admirably in Iraq for not acknowledging Dec. 7, 1941. Chris Sensel sacrificed immeasurably to serve our country. I personally witnessed his service to this country and how hard it was on his family.

Pooping on one hero to make a point about other heroes serves no one. I’m sure Chris would be happy to let you plan some Dec. 7 remembrances next year. All you would have to do is ask a hero if it would be OK to honor some other heroes.

Let’s all work on being solutions instead of being critics.
