COVID: Blame the true sources

| December 15, 2021 1:00 AM

First off, I am fully vaccinated. Secondly, I totally believe in individuals rights.

Reading the editor’s column on Sunday made me nauseated as he condemned hospital employees protesting the mandated vaccination requirements of the hospital/president/government. For responsible people, wanting to work, that have been working at the hospital since day one of our “COVID” crisis, to now lose their jobs because they chose not to vaccinate, is just wrong.

The editor should focus on the irresponsible leaders that have chosen to keep our city “open” to the outsiders that bring each variant of COVID to our area. This would benefit all the local residents (health wise) and our hospital (COVID patient count wise), and would only hurt local businesses that are hospitality based.

Please editor write a big article pertaining to our hospitality practices and the incoming COVID that has been caused. You won’t, because it likely would cost you the job you have, as your employers are the hospitality industry of Coeur d’Alene. Wouldn’t be fun to lose your job when you do it well, would it?

Freedom is a right and we are all in this together. Let’s act as such.
