Kaylynne Truong’s jumper broke a 52-all tie, and Gonzaga ended the game on a 14-2 run to beat Stephen F. Austin 64-54 on Sunday night before 2,751 at McCarthey Athletic Center in Spokane.

Truong and Cierra Walker each scored 18 points for Gonzaga (8-2).

Redshirt senior Anamaria Virjoghe had a career-best 13 rebounds and sophomore Yvonne Ejim had a career-high 11 boards.

Melody Kempton, a senior from Post Falls High, had eight points, four rebounds and two assists.

Stephanie Visscher led Stephen F. Austin (8-2) with 18 points.

Gonzaga travels to UC Davis next Sunday.

Washington State 62, Boise State 55: At Pullman, the Cougars rallied from 10 points down in the third quarter to beat the Broncos before 715 at Beasley Coliseum.

Charlisse Leger-Walker scored 23 points for WSU (8-1), including a steal and layup with 29 seconds left to put the Cougars up five.

Bella Murekatete, a senior from Genesis Prep, had 15 points, eight rebounds and three steals for WSU, which plays at BYU next Saturday.

Elodie Lalotte led Boise State (3-6) with 16 points.
