HISTORY: Letter to PFHS principal

| December 12, 2021 1:00 AM

Mr. Sensel,

My daughter is a junior at PFHS.

During dinner this evening she mentioned that today (Tuesday) there was no mention of the significance of this day in our history.

I am deeply upset and disappointed at the lack of recognition of Dec. 7, 1941. You being a veteran makes this even more disturbing. The generation that lived during this time is slowly diminishing and if our children are not taught these lessons, the sacrifice, heroism and tragedy of what happened that day will be forgotten.

I will make sure my family will take the time to talk about and remember what this day means to us as Americans. But myself and many others cannot express the sad commentary this shows regarding your leadership and oversight at our high school.

Post Falls High School and District 273 should be ashamed at this lack of education and leadership.
