Tattoo you, too

COEUR d’ALENE — Electric Age Tattoo is once again making its mark for the benefit of Children’s Village.

For the third year, It is offering free tattoos from noon to 7 p.m. Dec. 15 and 16 to those who donate money, toys, clothing or nonperishable food with a total value of at least $25.

It is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Last year about 100 people donated and were tattooed.

There is a limited selection of designs, some with holiday themes, for guests to cho0se from. Five artists will be on hand.

Each tattoo will take about 15 to 30 minutes and is valued at about $125.

Co-owner Jake Sifford said they want to support a local nonprofit and believe in the mission of Children’s Village.

“It hits close to home,” he said.

They also want to show people that tattoo shops are good places with good people doing good for the community.

Electric Age Tattoo is at 322 1/2 Sherman Avenue.
