KCSO seeks vehicle in hit-and-run accident
The Kootenai County Sheriff's Office is looking for this vehicle that may have involved in a hit-and-run accident in Hayden on Tuesday.
The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating the vehicle involved in a hit-and-run accident in Hayden on Tuesday.
KCSO said Thursday it located video of the suspected vehicle. Based on the video, the KCSO is looking for a mid-2000s Black Hummer H3, a press release said.
A vehicle-pedestrian accident was reported at approximately 4:30 p.m. Tuesday on Ramsey and Tugboat roads just south of Hayden Avenue.
The vehicle involved in the accident fled the scene and was last seen southbound on Ramsey Road, the release said.
The victim was conscious and alert, and was transported to Kootenai Health for non-life-threatening injuries.
