GOD: Loves the sinner…

I feel I need to respond to the “Rainbow Squad” article of Dec. 5.

The article states that the vocal actions and signs held by the “adult protesters” intimidated and traumatized these young people to the point of they would be scarred for life. Really?

The article presents a couple of “cherry-picked” verses from Matthew regarding “do until others as you would have them do to you” and “to love your neighbor as yourself.”

Has anyone stopped to think that this is exactly what these so-called “adult protesters” were doing? They were speaking the truth in love.

The lifestyles of the “Rainbow Squad” and those of the LGBTQ community are an abomination to God. God is a Holy God and He hates sin. We are all sinners in need of God’s grace and mercy. God hates the sin but loves the sinner.

The book of Romans says that when women lust after women and men lust after men these are vile passions deserving of death.

We are living at the end of the age, a time when Jesus will return for His church and this will usher in a period of seven years of God’s wrath on an unbelieving world known as the Tribulation. God does not want anyone to perish. The choice is yours. Call out to Him, admit you are a sinner in need of a Savior, turn from your wicked ways and accept God’s free gift of salvation before it is too late.
