COEUR d’ALENE — Cobi Campbell and Jalen Barbee scored 21 points each for Elite Prep, which stunned North Idaho College 76-66 in the final game of the Coeur d’Alene Inn-vitational on Saturday at Rolly Williams Court.

“We just struggled hitting open shots tonight,” said NIC coach Corey Symons, whose team finished 28 of 66 shooting, including 1 for 19 from the 3-point line. “We had a lot of good looks, but couldn’t get into a rhythm tonight. They’ve got some good players and hit some shots tonight and we didn’t.”

The loss snaps a 40-game win streak at home dating back to 2018.

NIC trailed by 17 following Barbee’s jumper with 5:49 remaining to make it 74-57. NIC outscored Elite Prep of Issaquah, Wash., 9-2 the remainder of the game. NIC beat Elite Prep 79-68 in Thursday’s tournament opener.

Julius Mims had 23 points and eight rebounds, Jalen Skalskiy — a freshman from Lakeland High — 16 points and nine rebounds for NIC (3-4).
