A mother of four Coeur d’Alene School District students will take the oath of office to serve the district as the newly appointed trustee for Zone 3 at the board meeting Monday.

Heather Tenbrink received majority board approval on Nov. 15 to take the place of former Trustee Tambra Pickford who resigned on Oct. 1.

At the end of the meeting, the board will go into executive session to discuss possible acquisition of property.

The district is working with Lakeside Capital group to acquire two parcels for future school sites on the west side of the district.

The board may return to open session to vote on the memorandum of understanding.

The meeting will start at 5 p.m. at the Midtown Center Meeting Room at 1505 N. Fifth St. in Coeur d’Alene.

Seating capacity is capped at 72 per the Fire Marshall. The meeting will also be live streamed on YouTube: youtube.com/c/CdASchools271.
