Red Kettle bell ringers wanted

| December 3, 2021 1:00 AM

Volunteer bell ringers are wanted for the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle program.

The goal is to raise $245,000 this holiday season. So far, $12,430 has been donated. Money stays here to help Kootenai County residents.

"Giving to The Salvation Army allows us to provide for families and individuals in need during these tough times," the website says.

There are 17 Red Kettle locations around the area with open shifts, including Super 1 stores, Safeways, Albertsons, Walmarts, Black Sheep, Cabela’s and B-Mart.

There are many shifts available.

You can also create your own virtual kettle to “add another avenue to help hope march on.”
