Kathryn (Kay) Hagadone Wellman, 84,

Kathryn (Kay) Hagadone Wellman, 84, passed away at North Idaho Hospice on Nov. 23, 2021.

Kathryn was born March 10, 1937, in Coeur d'Alene, ID. She was the second of three children. She married her husband, Roy, in 1957. Shortly after their wedding, they moved to Columbia, S.C., where they began their lives. Together they raised four children throughout the U.S. as Roy's work transferred them to various states over the years.

Upon Roy's retirement, they enjoyed traveling and spending time with their family and friends. Her greatest joy in life was her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Kathryn was also an avid member of Sweet Adelines and AG P.E.O. for over 50 years.

Kay was a loving supportive wife during the entirety of her 64 years of marriage to Roy, and a devoted mother to her four children.

She is survived by her husband Roy Wellman, her children Jodi Jodi Lauper (Glenn), Jill Fryman (Michael), Jeff Wellman (Tracey), and Scott Wellman (Lisa), five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and her sister Joany Kellner (David). She was preceded in death by her parents Burl and Beverly Hagadone, and her brother Duane Hagadone.
