DEMS: Seeing a different future

| December 1, 2021 1:00 AM

In response to Bob Ridout’s letter, “History: Paints dim forecast for Dems” on Nov. 21.

The Democrats didn’t single handedly lose the House, the Senate and the White House by more than 7 million votes in a four-year span. The GOP did.

One gubernatorial race is not an indicator of grand things to come for the GOP. Perhaps you should stop listening to conspiracy theorists and right wing talking heads and do some political self-examination.

Trump has led the GOP nowhere but down and the trend is continuing. Had Trump accepted defeat, you would most likely have two Republican senators from Georgia right now blocking this “socialist” agenda you speak of.

I wish we had the opportunity to vote for the Democrats who only exist in the frightened imagination of Republicans such as yourself.
