American Legion units hosting Saturday dinners

Two American Legion units are scheduled to serve dinners Saturday, and the public is welcome.

American Legion Post 14 is having a free barbecue for veterans and families from 4 to 6 p.m. at 2215 N. Seventh St. Please let them know if you plan to attend by calling 208-699-6540.

American Legion 149 is hosting a dinner at 6 p.m. at 5525 E. Highway 54 in Athol. The menu includes turkey, rice and broccoli casserole, salads and desserts. An $8 donation is suggested and carryout will be available.
