Coeur d'Alene Trust Call for Contractor Qualifications: The Coeur d'Alene Trust was established to coordinate the investigation, design, and implementation of remedies for environmental impacts associated with former mines, mills, and tailings piles in the Coeur d'Alene River Basin. The Trust is soliciting qualifications from Construction Contractors to perform four projects within Shoshone County Idaho as part of the continued cleanup efforts within the Upper Basin of the Bunker Hill Mining and Metallurgical Complex Superfund Site. The type of work includes such items as excavating and hauling mine waste, placing and compacting the mine waste within the Waste Consolidation Area, completing earthwork activities, reconstructing streams, installing an arch culvert, installing geosynthetic cover system, demolishing buildings, constructing asphalt roads, handling and disposal of asbestos-containing material (ACM), managing storm water, and completing revegetation. NOTICE OF CANDIDATE FILING DEADLINE CITY OF WORLEY, IDAHO NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: That the general election to be held in and for the City of Worley, Idaho, will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2021. The election will be held for the purpose of electing the following offices for the specified terms: Two (2) Council Member positions-2-year terms. Two (2) Council Member positions-4-year terms. Candidates for city elected office are required to file a Declaration of Candidacy specifying the office sought and affirming that the individual is a qualified city elector, meaning: at least 18 years of age, a U.S. citizen, the candidate's primary residence must be within the city, the address of the candidate's voter registration must match the residence address provided on the candidate's declaration, and the candidate must have resided in the city for at least 30 days prior to submitting their declaration. The Declaration of Candidacy must be accompanied by: (1) a nonrefundable filing fee of $40 or (2) a Petition of Candidacy signed by at least five qualified city electors with the signatures verified by the county clerk's office. The deadline for filing Declarations of Candidacy is Friday, September 3 at 5:00 p.m. Declarations of Candidacy are available at City Hall in the office of the city clerk at 9936 W.
