| August 20, 2021 1:00 AM

Northwest Brass, a new group, will perform at the Music Conservatory of Coeur d'Alene at 7 tonight.

They are directed by MariAnn Flynn, who is in the music faculty at North Idaho College. She previously graduated from the University of Idaho in music performance.

Northwest Brass has a horn quintet of new horn players who just performed their first recital two weeks ago.

"Their performance will be an enrichment and a treat," a press release said.

Northwest Brass includes Tom Durbin, trumpet; Rick Dickinson, trumpet; MariAnn Flynn, horn; Erreck Conley, trombone; and George Washington, tuba.

The program will include "Magic Horn" by Michael Kamen, "Scherzo" by John Cheetah, "Mr. Blue Sky" by The Electric Light Orchestra and "Sweet Georgia Brown" by Ben Bernie & Maceo Pinkard.
