Free art preview reception tonight

The Coeur d’Alene Arts and Culture Alliance is hosting a preview reception for its studio tour from 6 to 8 tonight at the Human Rights Education Institute on Fort Grounds Drive.

There will be art exhibits and a chance to talk to artists featured in the upcoming tour, as well as appetizers, live music and a no-host bar.

The 9th annual Coeur d’Alene Studio Artists Tour runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 28-29 and will feature the artwork of 38 local artists, with 16 participating studios. The event is free. There is also an opportunity to purchase VIP shuttle tickets that include lunch.
