Groundbreaking for Elevate Academy on Aug.23

A groundbreaking ceremony for Elevate Academy North is set for 9 a.m. Monday, Aug. 23 at the southwest corner of Killdeer Avenue and Bogie Drive in Post Falls.

School officials say they want to bring education and industry together in a sixth to 12th grade, year-round learning environment.

It is scheduled to open in the fall of 2022.

"Our goal is to help students become career leaders — industry certified, engaged, productive professionals," said a flyer.

Local mayors have been invited and Terra Coffee is providing free coffee and desserts.
