Day Shift handled the following notable calls:

Deputies responded to the area of the Fernan Saddle regarding a male laying in the middle of the road refusing to move. Contact was made with the male, who we have dealt with recently for the same types of incidents. As he was being issued a citation, he decided he wanted to leave and began to walk away. He refused to follow orders to stop and return several times. He was ultimately taken into custody without incident and booked for obstructing. 21-35111

A Deputy handled a battery report at E. Trinity Ln. A Granddaughter and Grandmother had been in an argument that spanned from yesterday to today. During these arguments, both battered each other, but neither wanted to pursue charges. A report was taken. 21-35113

Multiple Deputies responded to Honeysuckle Ave. and Strahorn Rd. for an injury accident. One vehicle rear ended another vehicle that was attempting to turn. Two patients were transported with non-life threatening injuries. 21-35153

Evening Shift handled the following notable calls: A Detective arrested a male for his misdemeanor warrant. 21-35199

Deputies responded to the area of Hwy 53 and Hwy 95 for a report of a possible child abuse. It had been reported that a woman was seen hitting a child in the vehicle. The vehicle was locate near Silverwood. The abuse was unfounded. However, marijuana was located in the vehicle and the male passenger in the vehicle provided a false name as he thought he had a warrant. The female was issued a citation for possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. The passenger was arrested for false info to peace officers. It was learned he had recently been released from prison in Oregon and he thought he had warrants as he was out of state.

Deputies took 7 auto burglary reports from the area of Higgins Point. 7 vehicles had their windows smashed and items taken. FTC's, vehicle registration cards and insurance information was taken. Another auto burglary report was taken from the Nettleton Gulch Trail Head. Cards taken from both locations were used in an attempt to purchase gift cards and Fred Meyer. Those transactions were stopped by the victims through the bank. CDAPD stated they also had burglaries today and transactions were attempted at Fred Meyer.

A Deputy responded to Calloway Ln. for an overdose. A male had taken psilocybin mushrooms and was having a bad reaction. The Deputy assisted medical personnel and rode in the ambulance as the male was out of control as he was transported to KH.

Deputies responded to N. 4th Ave to assist Spirit Lake PD with a suicidal subject. Spirt Lake took the male into custody for an evaluation.

Deputies responded twice to the area of FSR 332 and E. Pend Oreille Divide Rd. Two separate parties reported seeing a male and female walking in the area. The couple requested passing motorist call for help for them. Deputies were unable to locate on either occasion. It is unknown why they wanted help. Passing motorists gave the couple water and they were reported as looking like they may possibly be under the influence.

Night Shift handled the following notable calls: Deputies responded to S. Rose Creek Road for a wanted person. A male was reported to be at the location and had an active warrant for trafficking heroin. He was unable to be located. 21-35243

Deputies responded to a domestic dispute. The R/P reported he had heard banging and noises of a male and female fighting. Deputies made contact with the male and female. The male was ultimately arrested for felony domestic battery. 21-35260
