Vandals to air on SWX four times in 2021

Seven of 11 Idaho football games will be televised this season (so far), with SWX announcing four Vandal games on Thursday.

Idaho's opener at home against Simon Fraser on Sept. 4 at 1 p.m. will air on SWX.

Idaho’s home matchup with Montana for the Little Brown Stein will also air on SWX on Oct. 23 at 4:30 p.m., in both the Idaho/Washington market and the Montana market. Earlier that day, will televise Weber State at Eastern Washington at 1 p.m.

The Vandals will host Northern Arizona Oct. 30 with a 1 p.m. kickoff on SWX. Finally, Idaho’s matchup at Montana State, Nov. 13, will also air on SWX at noon.

The Vandals had previously announced the matchup with the Eagles of Eastern Washington will air on ROOT Sports on Oct. 16 at 1 p.m. Idaho’s meeting with Indiana will air on the Big 10 Network on Sept. 11 at 4:30 p.m., while the final nonconference game against Oregon State will be shown on the Pac-12 Network on Sept. 18 at 12:30 p.m.

Oct. 16 — Pacific Lutheran at Whitworth, 1 p.m.

Oct. 23 — Weber State at Eastern Washington, 1 p.m.; Montana at Idaho, 4:30 p.m.

Oct. 30 — Northern Arizona at Idaho, 1 p.m.

Nov. 6 — Montana State at Eastern Washington, 1 p.m.

Nov. 13 — Idaho at Montana State, noon

Walker, Lucas named to Senior Bowl Watch List

Idaho linebacker Tre Walker, Washington State right tackle Abe Lubas, Southern Utah offensive tackle Braxton Jones and Idaho State wide receiver Tanner Conner were among the area players named to the 2022 Reese's Senior Bowl Watch List on Thursday.

The Senior Bowl is scheduled for Feb. 5, 2022 on NFL Network.
