DOGS: Artful owner ignorance

Went to Art on the Green Saturday, July 30. The temperature was 103 degrees mid-afternoon. Felt bad for the vendors due to the high heat. Worse than that for me was the stupid people walking their dogs. The street was probably 160 degrees.

That high temperature can cause blisters pretty quickly. The Humane Society should be there handing out citations for cruelty to animals.

I almost said something to a woman: How about you take off your sandals and go barefoot? Also saw a new mother with a brand new baby, carrying it with no blanket or cover in direct sun.

I do not understand. Somehow that should be against the law.
