Nancy Lee Smith

Jan. 18, 1934 – July 28, 2021

Nancy died in Spirit Lake, Idaho. She was born in Montague, Mass., to Leslie A. Burns and Martha L. Burns.

Her father was a physician, and her mother was a housewife, who later became a nurse. After the death of her father, her mother moved from Massachusetts to California, where Nancy attended school from first grade through college, graduating in 1959 from St. Helena hospital in California as an RN.

She enjoyed her nursing and singing.

After college, she went to Guam where she worked and ended up getting married and having four children. After a divorce, she moved back stateside, living in California, Oregon, Washington and Idaho, where she met her current husband.

She is preceded in death by both her father and mother.

Nancy is survived by her husband Robert of Athol, two daughters, Delene Lamouric, her husband J.P. and children Laura and Titouan Lamouric, of New Zealand; Sheryl Cornelison, her husband Brent and children Emily and Ethan Cornelison, of Athol; and two sons, Wesley Taitague, his wife Esther and child Sean Wesley Taitague, of Guam; Jack Taitague and his children Alysia and Andrew Taitague, of Florida; along with stepchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 29, 2021, at the Hayden Seventh-day Adventist Church in Hayden, Idaho.
