CHANGE: Get used to it

I get a bang out of these letters like Mr. John Howard’s of Pinehurst complaining about how things around here have changed for the worst since he moved here in 2001.

Well you know what, Mr. Howard? I’ll bet if we looked at the Letters section of the Press in 2001, we’d see letters along the line, “this place has really changed since I moved here in 1980.” And you know why it changed? Because people like you moved here in 2001.

I moved here in 2021. I hope in 20 years I’m not complaining about how things have changed since I moved here and changed things.
