BIRCHERS: Check us out

I do appreciate it when we hear both sides of any issue. So I appreciated the fact that Bev Twillmann shared how she felt about what other Republicans happen to believe.

However, it seems obvious from the letter that she has probably never attended a Kootenai County Republican Central Committee meeting, nor has she ever been to a Birch meeting or known anyone who is a member of the John Birch Society.

Had she done so, she may have discovered that some of her most respected and patriotic neighbors are members.

It is such a shame that she does not get her facts straight.
