PREP BASEBALL: Moscow starts fast, downs St. Maries

MOSCOW — Chad Redinger hit an RBI triple in the first inning, then scored on a wild pitch for the Moscow Bears in a 7-1 win over the St. Maries Lumberjacks at Community Playfields on Thursday.

Shaun Hunter singled and scored on an error in the fifth inning for St. Maries (3-13), which hosts Grangeville in a Central Idaho League doubleheader on Saturday at noon.

Redinger and Mike Kiblen scored two runs each for Moscow (8-7).
