| April 30, 2021 1:15 AM

COEUR d’ALENE — Kasey Davis, a freshman from Vacaville, Calif., hit a two-run double in the first game, then hit a solo home run in the nightcap for North Idaho College in a 13-10, 11-10 sweep of the Wenatchee Valley Knights in Northwest Athletic Conference play at Memorial Field on Thursday.

NIC played its first games in 11 days after a COVID-19 pause forced the cancellation of games against Big Bend (April 22) and Walla Walla (April 24).

Audrey Walker hit a two-run home run in the first inning of the first game for NIC.

NIC rallied with five runs in the bottom of the seventh of the second game, scoring the game-winner on an error to complete the comeback.
