INVITE: For commish to talk

| April 30, 2021 1:00 AM

Bill Brooks, at our Reagan Republican meeting, April 22, Chris Fillios came to explain to us and answer all our questions for 1 1/2 hours on your proposal you brought to the BOCC on March 9, to reform Kootenai County government for the citizens.

Great meeting Chris. You answered all our questions. Thank you. Leslie Duncan came to replace Bill when he canceled on me for April 8 and answered all our questions. Thank you, Leslie.

Bill, you told me last November that if I disagreed with you, you asked me, as a former Whitman County Commissioner, to tell you.

This is the second time you have proposed this issue to the citizens of Kootenai County, right? Who is supporting this proposal? Would you send me the list of people who you said supported you, that you received at the Women’s Republican meeting on April 1? You said you had hundreds.

You made this motion March 9 as a leader in Kootenai County. You should be out selling this program to Democrats, Republicans, Rotary Club and Town Hall meetings around the county.

I’m disappointed that you are pushing this agenda again but refuse to answer questions at the Republican Women’s meeting.

Bill, I’m asking you to be my speaker again at another Reagan Republican meeting.

If you want this proposal, it’s your responsibility to Stand Up and Shout It Out at the above mentioned meetings.

I’m asking you to listen to the citizens of Kootenai County including the questions asked at the Kootenai County Republican Women Federated at the Resort, April 1.
