Notable calls for the day!

04-23-21

Day Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded to the report of a verbal in Hayden. Upon arrival, it was learned a female had returned home and was yelling at a male. The female wanted to sell/remove all of males and his children's belongings while he was at work. She was told this was not acceptable and left the residence. At approximately 2 hours later, Deputies responded back to the same residence as the male advised the female had sold some of his belongings. The female was extremely intoxicated and agitated. Deputies remained on scene as the male and his children removed their belongings from the interior of the residence, to ensure the situation did not escalate into criminal actions. The selling of the item was determined to be a civil issue.

Evening shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded to the Hayden Jifi Stop gas station reference a Welfare Check on a female subject at the rear of the location. On scene Deputies located pills on a female. She was placed in custody. 21-16605

• Deputies responded to the area of W. Riverview Dr. X S. Kelly Rd. reference an Explosives call. Reportedly there was a large explosion and then a fire. On scene Deputies spoke with some young adults on scene. The explained they started a bonfire by utilizing a shotgun shell (referred to as Dragon's breath). Fire units came and discussed safety concerns with the folks on scene. 21-16621

• Deputies responded to the Gateway Resort Campground in Harrison reference a reported Citizen Dispute. On scene Deputies determined a female was staying the park for approx. 1 month with her boyfriend and son. Some folks from Boise came up and rented the space next to them for the weekend. The female (in her normal belligerent, intoxicated state) began to accuse the couple of being "free-loaders" and not paying for their space. The Deputies were able to calm the female down and ensure that the couple had paid, and that it was none of her business anyway. F.I. 21-16624

• Deputies along with 3 ISP troopers responded to the area of N. Right Fork Rd. for a reported Weapon Offense/possible Shooting. It was reported by a landlord, that her tenant; was being shot at by their neighbor. After ensuring for tenant’s safety, and that of his son, they were interviewed, it was determined they were not in danger and no crime had taken place. 21-16625

• Deputies responded to the area of Midtown Ln. for a Fight. On scene they learned that two males were fighting over a cat. CV report 21-16626

• A Deputy was in the area of the El Patio in Stateline and observed a vehicle belonging to a male he had recently arrested who now had a Warrant. The Warrant was confirmed, and he and some other Deputies went into the El Patio and placed the male in custody for his warrant. The Deputy located Drugs- 15 + grams of cocaine on his person and his K-9 partner also alerted on the vehicle which yielded additional amounts of pills and cocaine. The male was charged with PWI - Cocaine and PCS as well as his warrant. #21-16635/ 21-16636

Night Shift handled the following notable calls:

• A Deputy stopped a vehicle at Seltice Way and Pleasant View. The driver exhibited the symptoms of intoxication. She failed SFSTs and provided breath samples of .092/.086. She was arrested for DUI. 21-16638

Day Shift handled the following notable calls: No notable calls for this shift

Evening shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded to a reported Family Dispute. Deputies interviewed all parties involved. He determined a female was upset with her brother-in-law for allegedly turning off the wi-fi connection while she was trying to use it. At some point the male was struck by female and the female advised she was struck by the male. Neither party wished to press any charges report completed. 21-16712

• Deputies responded to a Family Dispute. On scene they contacted two males. One of the males was upset and "in the other males’ face" about drywall mud getting on his clothing. Nothing physical occurred. FI. 21-16718

• While in-route to a call, A Deputy observed intoxicated male getting up from the grass in front of the Caddyshack. Upon contact, the Deputy learned that a minor battery between the male and his brother had occurred inside the bar. Neither party wanted to press any charges. 21-16722.

• A Deputy stopped a vehicle near the intersection of Seltice X Beck. During the stop, the Deputy used his K-9 Partner to search for drugs. The Deputy ultimately arrested the driver for Poss. of Meth (4.32 grams. He was also charged for Poss. of Marj. 21-16736

• Deputies towed 7 vehicles, and issued 9 citations for vehicles parked on Ante Road that were in violation of the High Districts Ordinance. This is after they gave verbal warnings to motorists who were parking there throughout her shift. Additionally, Nashville North was contacted to advise them we would be citing/towing vehicles at that location. Nashville North advised they would help by posting signs and advising their customers verbally not to park there.

Night Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded to Rusty's bar after a patron was cut off from service and refused to leave. Upon contact with the male, he was highly intoxicated and believed the bar was only cutting him off because they are "liberals" and since they have a difference of opinion, they did not want him there. This was determined to be not true and they cut him off because he was too intoxicated. He was trespassed for life per the bar's request. 21-16760

• Deputies responded to N. Meyer Rd. twice this shift for verbal family disputes. Two Brothers were intoxicated and verbal with each other. After the second call, they both went their separate ways and went to bed. No crime was articulated. 21-16761/16776

Notable calls for the day!

04-25-21

Day Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Units responded to Honeysuckle Beach for a possible hit and run crash. There were several callers about the driver of the suspect vehicle possibly being intoxicated. The suspect vehicle was followed by citizens to Honeysuckle Beach were units contacted the driver. During the investigation it was learned that the driver was upset about the passing of his brother. Based on some statements it was determined to transport the male to KH and place him on a PC hold so he could get some assistance. He was cited and released to KH for DUI.

Evening shift handled the following notable call:

• A Deputy responded to a citizen dispute. Two males were involved in a verbal argument regarding one of the male’s failure to pay child support. No crime had actually been committed. 21-16839

• Deputies responded to an unattended death report. A male had died after suffering a medical episode. Nothing suspicious was noted. 21-16853

• Deputies responded to the Casino for a theft. A male had dropped a cash voucher for approximately $850. Security was able to identify a possible suspect, however he had left the scene. 21-16848

Night Shift handled the following notable call:

• Deputies responded to Lancaster X Hwy 95 for a non-injury crash. A driver had fallen asleep behind the wheel and ran off Hwy 95. The driver did not suffer any injuries. 21-16871
