PREP TRACK AND FIELD: Trojans, Lake City's Chapman smash school records

POST FALLS — After seeing two school records fall last week, the Post Falls track and field team added another as the 4x100 relay team of Caleb Streeter, Dylan Wolfe, Dalton Wild and Kyle Lickfold won in 43.93 seconds at the Christina Finney Co-Ed Relays at Post Falls High on Friday.

The previous record, set in 2016 by Matthew Mills, Kyle Lightner, Jayden Gering and Parker Walton was 44.14.

Lake City senior Angelyca Chapman won in the 100, 200 and 400. Her time of 56.47 in the 400 broke her own school record, set on April 13 in Sandpoint.

“With the nice weather, there looked like some really good times,” Post Falls coach Wade Quesnell said. “Our 4x100 team ran really well. I knew Angelyca ran really well, but I just can’t believe that she continues to keep getting better.”

Timberlake senior Blayre Jeffs won the shot put and discus.
