In the first game, Spencer Zeller hit a two-run double to start a six-run fourth inning for Post Falls (15-4-1, 12-2 IEL), and Kaden Cripps added a two-run single three batters later.

Post Falls stole 17 bases on the day, 11 in the first game. The games were moved up a day due to the threat of bad weather today.

“I thought we ran the bases really well today,” Zeller said. “If we can get Spencer (Zeller) and Cole (Rutherford) on, and (Aidan) Winters and (Tanner) Sessions at the bottom of the order, those are pretty fast guys, we like to steal whenever we can. Our baserunning was really good, taking the extra base, reading the ball in the dirt.”
