APPOINTEE: Reasons to worry

| April 21, 2021 1:00 AM

It was a real downer to read about the opinions of Jessica Jameson, recently chosen to be on the board of Panhandle Health.

From all the reading we could do, we have gained the picture that the COVID virus is passed from mouth to mouth by wet droplets. I can’t think of a better way to prevent that than a mask.

And we waited a long time to get the vaccines because of the certification procedures done by scientists. We believe in the high percentage efficacy they claim and know that the pharmaceutical companies are now testing new variants as they get more access to them. Nor is it a question of the vaccine being mandatory. Gov. Little wisely left it up to the non-public businesses to make their own requirements in this regard.

So Ms. Jameson has more information than we get? Please have her tell us what that is.
