Chip Shots: Highlands plans 18-hole men's league

HIGHLANDS GOLF COURSE

The Highlands Men’s Club is forming an 18-hole Wednesday morning league that will begin playing on Wednesday, May 12. Tee times will start at 9 a.m. All members will need to be a member of the Highlands Men’s Club and will need to have a current GHIN.

The weekly fee will be $15, paid out in Pro Shop credits. Weekly games will feature a variety of different games, with pairings being put together by the Pro Shop.

PONDEROSA SPRINGS

A meeting of the Ponderosa Springs par-3 ladies 9-hole league is scheduled for Thursday, April 22 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the course restaurant, Capone's Pub on the Green, 1291 N. Galena Dr., Coeur d'Alene.

Registration and lunch will be available. League fee is $13. Golf fee is $11. The league will start on Thursday, May 6, at 9 a.m., and golfers must be registered, signed in and fees paid by 8:30 a.m.
