Bank robbery in Post Falls
The Post Falls Police Department is seeking public aid in identifying two individuals for questioning after a bank robbery Monday.
At 1:50 p.m., the PFPD and FBI were alerted to a bank robbery at the Wells Fargo Bank located at 1026 E. Polston Ave. in Post Falls.
The event marks the first time in almost seven years since a similar crime happened in the River City. Before Monday, PFPD Capt. Jason Mealer said, the last bank robbery within city limits occurred on May 14, 2014.
A news release by PFPD said the suspect was described as a white male in his mid-20s to mid-30s. He is about 5-foot-8 and weighs approximately 140 pounds. The suspect has brown hair and was wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, dark-colored sweatpants, and a red and white bandanna face mask, the release said.
Mealer said more information about the robbery is restricted at this point, but PFPD is working with the FBI to resolve the case.
If a member of the public can identify the individuals photographed, please call the Post Falls Police Department at 208-773-3517.
