APARTMENTS: Sign of the times

Looking at Tuesday’s paper I saw a picture of the apartment complex going in at Riverstone.

It reminded me of a couple of weeks ago when I had to drive to Post Falls. I decided to go Seltice Way instead of the freeway. I hadn’t been on Seltice Way in quite some time. I noticed how it had built up with apartments from one side of the street to the other.

In a way it’s really sad. I’ve been up here going on 15 years. I can’t imagine how the people who have been here longer feel. There are two complexes on Ramsey and I guess the old water park is going to change into another complex right next to the freeway.

Where is everyone going to work? Is this what they call progress?
