Pam Gerger

| April 16, 2021 1:00 AM

Pam Gerger was born April 26, 1954, to Barney and Caroline (nee Selzer) Gerger in Minot, N.D. She was raised on the family farm until her parents headed west for a better future in 1967. Pam attended St. Thomas and St. Pius Church Schools and IHM Academy until its closure, and graduated from IHM High School in 1974.

Pam met Vince Saunders in 1989 and together they had the joy of her life — son Rory. Pam was a great mother and a loving companion to Vince for almost 32 years.

Pam held several jobs, including at the City of Dalton Gardens, and ended her career at Public Employees Credit Union, retiring in 2017.

Pam loved to walk the beautiful city of Post Falls where she resided with Vince, often four or more miles each day. She was a tiny, little gal whose big heart was enjoyed by all who knew her.

Pam will be especially missed by Vincent, Rory and Kayla, along with her son, Mavrick, and her siblings, along with many other family members.

Pam is now back in the loving arms of her mother, Caroline, and father, Bernard, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include husband, Vincent; son, Rory (Kayla and Mavrick); sisters, Sheila (Alan) Childers, Jane (Scott) Lenz, Peggy (George) McDonald, Mary Kay (Rodney Norman); brothers Steven (Lori) Gerger, Mark (Gwen) Gerger and Dennis (Lori) Gerger; along with many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at St George's Catholic Church in Post Falls on Monday April 19, 2021.
