DISCOVERY: Check it out

Last fall, my wife, two young sons and I stumbled upon the Little Discovery Corner in the Silver Lake Mall. This is a storefront filled with activities and toys, free to the public and funded by the Community Library Network.

We became frequent visitors, as it can be tough to keep a toddler and a pre-schooler free from cabin fever through a weekend in the winter. We noticed that the center was closing in May on our visit today. My wife and I want to send a heartfelt thank you to the Community Library Network for providing this wonderful benefit to all kids in our community, and hope that similar opportunities are funded in the future.
