Notable calls for the day!

Day Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded to a DVA violation. An R/P called in to report her soon to be ex-husband was across the street from her house visiting a neighbor. Upon contacting the male and reviewing the TPO it was determine to be very ambiguous because he lives within 300 feet of female. A report was completed to send to the prosecutor’s office to review.

• Deputies responded to a welfare check. An out of state employer called from New York and asked us to do a welfare check on an employee they have not heard from since April 2. Deputies were able to go the residence and establish that the employee was on a trip in Texas and everything was code 4.

• Deputies responded to a possible suicide threat. A male called in to say his sister was making statements and "wants to die, wants to kill herself." Upon arriving on scene and contacting the female, it was determine she met the criteria for an involuntary hold and was transported to KH for assistance.

Evening Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded to to a battery. After arriving on scene Deputies contacted the RP and he advised that he had gone into his roommate's room to borrow her cell phone. After using the phone, the RP returned back to the room in order to return the cellphone and was then pushed by a separate roommate for no apparent reason. All three parties involved were intoxicated and the RP was adamant on pursuing charges. The suspect was cited and released for battery. 21-15077

• Several Deputies responded to Razzles for a report of a fight in progress. It was reported that 8 people were involved in the fight, which was reportedly in-progress. On scene units learned that there was no actual fight, however, a highly intoxicated subject stole a social security card from another patron. When the other patrons tried to get it back, a very short scuffle occurred. Deputies search the suspect along with her vehicle and the surrounding area but were unable to locate the card. No one wished to pursue charges, and subject was called a taxi to take her from the scene. 21-15093

Night Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Several Deputies responded to the area of Forest Service Road 206 near Mile Post 11 for a reported domestic battery. Upon their arrival, they were able to locate a female who was hiding in the woods. She reported that her boyfriend had attempted to strangle her and left her in the woods stating, "I don’t care if the coyotes eat you." After the female was cleared by medical on scene, Deputies contacted Safe Passages who provided the female with a hotel room for the night. As of this log Elliott has not been located and a report was completed.

• Deputies responded to Stateline Showgirls regarding a reported sexual battery. A female reported a male had grabbed her inappropriately, after being told not to, while she was performing a lap dance. The male was issued a citation for sexual battery and trespassed from the establishment.

• Several KCSO Deputies and Post Falls Officers responded to a reported cardiac event. A female R/P reported she and a male were driving around the Post Falls area when he began breathing heavily. While performing CPR officers located a meth pipe on the male’s person. He was transported to Kootenai Health where he was pronounced deceased.
