RANKING: Quality of life suffers

I find the Coeur d’Alene Press is being disingenuous by their front-page story stating, “Idaho ranked fifth best place to live,” which was not the entire story.

Those types of headlines have already moved so many transients here that Idaho’s population is skyrocketing.

The article also showed, on the second page, that our education is rated at No. 29, doesn’t sound good to me… Air and water quality down to No. 12, crime and infrastructure No. 10.

As someone who has been here since 1980, it saddens me as I see our quality of life headed in the wrong direction, especially with all this uncontrolled growth.
