Saturday market starting in Rathdrum

A craft and farmers market is scheduled 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at 8193 Main St. in Rathdrum.

Local artisans and farmers are expected to join the event put on by Northwest Crafts and Decor LLC. Home decor, art, furniture, body products and craft supplies will be among the offerings.

The market will run Saturdays through Oct. 23.

"It will be great for the community," wrote Sandra Cook of Crazy Cat Chick Farm.

Northwest Crafts and Decor opened in July. It specializes in showcasing handcrafted items and has more than 30 local artisans.
