Fourteen scholarships totaling $25,000 in financial aid will be awarded this spring through Numerica Credit Union’s scholarship fund. High school seniors pursuing higher education as well as current college students are encouraged to apply for one of two scholarship programs by the April 30 deadline.

Numerica is awarding 10 Student Ambassador Scholarships of $1,500 each. These are given to high school seniors entering into a trade, vocational, certificate, associates or bachelor’s degree program.

In addition, four Continuing Education Scholarships of $2,500 each are awarded to current college students working full-time on associate, bachelor’s or master’s degrees.

“Numerica’s scholarship program helps to address financial barriers to higher education,” said Kim Pearman-Gillman, SVP of corporate and community relations. “We are proud to honor our mission of enhancing lives, fulfilling dreams and building communities by investing in our members’ education.”

In all, Numerica has set aside $45,000 toward scholarships in 2021, including the Student Loan Repayment Scholarship program that will return this fall.
