TRANSPLANTS: Different strokes

As another new resident to North Idaho, grateful for the freedoms Idaho supports unlike Washington, I choked on my coffee when I read a fellow “refugee” from Washington, Josef Karl Verner, state his reasoning for fleeing comrade Inslee’s state, then in the next paragraphs criticize the Idaho legislators for living free over ridiculous masking and social distancing.

He cites deaths “from COVID,” but fails to say 2020 (estimated U.S. deaths of 3.2 million by CDC) deaths are a tiny percentage over the average since 1950 per 1,000 Americans. I wish he’d explain how with his horrible COVID-19 deaths, record suicides, drug and large city murders, that number could be so close, if COVID has been so deadly.

While he’s at it perhaps he can explain why COVID miraculously cured cancer, diabetes, heart, pneumonia, liver kidney and other deaths, as deaths attributed to those “normal” causes are almost unmeasurable. He chides our legislators as “stupid is as stupid does” when he’s fled his previous state only to expect Idaho to act and be like what he’s left. Typical liberal who fled Seattle to Olympic Peninsula yet advocates for Democrats to run it down. Yikes!
