LEVY: My Turn didn’t help

| April 2, 2021 1:00 AM

Oh, Evan Koch, you had me convinced in your My Turn article March 27, that you were a nonpartisan nice guy just wanting to better inform the public regarding school levies and the legitimate need for them.

As a voter, I was appreciating the information you were offering and specifically because of the Post Falls levy vote coming up. But, Evan, you blew it! You showed your true colors as a very partisan person who is no different than any other Democrat, Republican or so-called independent who lacks diplomacy, or the ability to unite the opposition.

You got off message and began making personal comments and assumptions against those you disagree with at NIC, and Republicans in general. But then, I read that you are the chair of the Kootenai County Democratic Central Committee. Maybe if the Democrat and Republican Committees had someone chairing their committees that were truly non-partisan, open-minded, understood diplomacy and had some good ole wisdom, our nation wouldn’t be in the hell hole it’s in now.

P.S. I already decided to vote for the levy but your letter didn’t help the cause, especially those Republicans who you offended and are undecided. Sad.
