Notable calls for the day!

Day Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies assisted SLPD with a domestic/trespassing incident.

• Deputies took a property damage crash at St. Emilion and Chateaux

• Deputies handled a property damage crash at Atlas Rd. and Hayden Ave.

• Deputies responded to Baldy Way for a suicide threat. It was reported the distraught female’s husband recently passed away and she is overwhelmed with house responsibilities. She was frustrated with the Avista Utilities phone tree menu. When she finally was talking with customer service, she said she was going to burn down the house. When contacted, she admitted being frustrated but the statement was just a saying and she was not considering hurting herself. FI completed.

• Deputies responded to W. Hayden Ave. for a fight. A person with mental health issues ran away from her case worker. The case worker chased the subject and tackled them in front of Hayden Pet Medical. The situation was not a fight and was sorted out with the patient, their parents, and the counselor. The patient was returned to the counselor.

Evening/Night shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded to Hauser Lake Boat Launch for a suicide threat. The R/P stated her ex-boyfriend is very upset and said “this is out, last communication”. Deputies were able to contact the male who was not suicidal but upset “the R/P is with another guy”. 20-42216

• Deputies responded to N. Log Arch Lane for a drugs complaint. The R/P reported a male and female were in a gold Mercedes and she thought they were overdosing. Prior to deputy’s arrival, the R/P said the vehicle had left west bound on Lacey. Deputies unable to locate the vehicle. 20-42215

• Deputies responded to Biolife for a welfare check. The R/P stated kids were left in a vehicle while their parents “donated”. The R/P believed the children to be under the age of 10. It was learned a male had left his two children in the vehicle for over 30 minutes while he was donating plasma. Deputies charged the male with injury to a child. 20-42214

• Deputies responded to Showgirls for a Trespassing/unwanted. Manager at Showgirls reported a male who began getting verbal with other customers and refusing to leave the property. The male was talking to himself and attempting to fight anyone. Upon their arrival, Deputies contacted the male, who tried to head butt deputies and was ultimately arrested for battery on certain personnel. 20-42271

• Deputies responded to El Patio for a DUI. The R/P stated a male had just pulled into El Patio and was extremely intoxicated almost crashing several times. The R/P also said the male was urinating in the parking lot. Deputies arrived and contacted a male who was extremely uncooperative and eventually charged for DUI (refusal) and resisting/obstructing. 20-42291
