No pre-sale for football
game at Lake City on Friday
COEUR d'ALENE — All ticket sales will be at the gate only for Friday's high school football game pitting Sandpoint at Lake City.
There will be no presale of tickets this week, as has been the case in previous games this season, due to COVID-19 concerns.
Ticket sales will still be limited to less than 1,500, Lake City High athletic director Jim Winger said.
Vandal Boosters to meet
Thursday at Cd'A Resort
COEUR d'ALENE — The monthly meeting of the Kootenai County Vandal Boosters is scheduled for Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Cabin 5 at The Coeur d'Alene Resort.
Matt Martin, Associate AD for Special Athletic Projects at Idaho, is the guest speaker. Martin is expected to join the meeting in person and give an update on the construction of the ICCU Arena and take questions about the project.

Hatley team falls in
ninth hole of playoff
DUPONT, Wash. — Reid Hatley of Hayden Lake and Jacob Koppenberg of Bellingham, Wash., lost on the ninth hole of a playoff Tuesday in a qualifier for the 2021 U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Championship.
Hatley and Koppenberg shot an 11-under-par 61 at The Home Course. Brandon Peterson of Ocean Shores, Wash., and John Sand of Hoquiam, Wash., won the playoff, and advanced to the 2021 U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Championship scheduled for May 22-26 at Chambers Bay in University Place, Wash.
Hatley and Koppenberg will be the first alternate from this qualifier, and Ryan Kelly of Gig Harbor, Wash. and Jon McCaslin of Olympia, Wash., are second alternate. Kelly and McCaslin had finished at 9-under par, two shots out of the playoff.
