Post Falls Chamber: New leader focuses on connections

It’s with great pleasure that I write my first president’s message for the Business Journal of North Idaho. Thank you Coeur d’Alene Press for providing this forum for chambers of commerce to communicate with the community.

From the moment I stepped into my first Post Falls Chamber general membership luncheon several years ago, I felt welcome. There’s a strong sense of community commitment in Post Falls and I’m now honored to work among such wonderful people in a new capacity.

As CEO it will be my goal to make sure that the sense of welcome and commitment for our businesses and our community continue on. Connection is critical, now more than ever, and the Chamber of Commerce is here to foster that connection in every way we can.

As every nonprofit and civic organization has experienced in 2020, meetings and longstanding events have been postponed or gone virtual. The business community is resilient and inventive and the Post Falls Chamber is determined to look for solutions and collaboration with our membership and the community.

My first month at the helm has been a whirlwind of working with our established chamber team, a dedicated board of directors and committee chairs, membership and community partners.

We’ve needed to pivot with some of our longstanding and successful fall and winter events, so I encourage you to follow our social media and check our website for updates.

There’s room for more at the table so if you’ve been thinking about the benefit of chamber membership, give me a call!
