COVID: 1,000 deaths a day

| September 27, 2020 1:00 AM

Just today, the United States lost 1,000 lives to the COVID virus. One thousand people a day is equivalent to three jumbo jets filled with people crashing — EVERY DAY.

How would you feel if you learned that the president knew in advance these planes were not safe and had faulty wiring but demanded that they fly? And, what if he demanded that no mechanics fix the wiring? Or if he refused to let the American people know the truth about these planes? Or if he refused to let NATSB inspect the crash site? Or told you not to worry about these faulty planes and encouraged you to fight for your rights to fly on these faulty airplanes?

What if your loved ones were on that flight? Would you book travel? Why aren’t we demanding better testing, more N95 masks, mask wearing by everyone until we have a vaccine — or a plan? 206,000 and counting today… 1,000 deaths a day. Unimaginable.
