ADLER: Renowned, he isn’t

| September 25, 2020 1:00 AM

This letter is written in response to your front-page article featuring David Adler on Friday, Sept. 18, who you gloriously described as “a renowned constitutional scholar.”

I have known Mr. Adler for years and he is not the “renowned” person you describe, but rather just a typical extreme liberal college instructor who loathes anyone who would challenge the globalist agenda which restricts individual freedom. As typical socialists do, they misquote those who oppose their desire for authoritarian control and accuse them of what they themselves are actually doing. It’s the socialist/Marxists who desire “absolute power” and “tyranny” over the citizens — not the conservative Republicans who oppose globalism.

President Trump’s desire to uphold the Constitution is precisely why he is attempting to appoint a strict constitutionalist for the Supreme Court which the Democrats so vehemently oppose. I worked for Republican U.S. Senator James McClure for 24 years and Mr. Adler oversaw Senator McClure’s library at the University of Idaho, but Mr. Adler no longer has that position because of his extreme liberal positioning.

For the Coeur d’Alene Press to portray Mr. Adler as an impartial “renowned constitutional expert” is dishonest. Unfortunately, I suspect the Coeur d’Alene Press will continue these same dishonest biased articles clear up until Nov. 3 which is unfortunate for those who truly seek truth and clarity.
