Notable calls for the day!

Day Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies took an auto burglary report at Citadel Rd. Tools and a lock were stolen from a job site. While taking the information on this report, it was learned a second job site, nearby at N. Prominence Rd., was also hit. Reports taken on both.

• Deputies responded to a minor injury crash at Diagonal and Ramsey Rd. Traffic was blocked for a while but no major injuries.

• Deputies arrested a female juvenile for her warrant at JDC.

• Deputies took an auto burglary report at E. Burnham Ave. The R/P reported her wallet stolen out of her car.

• Deputies took a theft report at the Panhandle Yacht Club. The R/P reported a bag containing various items was stolen off the dock area.

• Deputies arrested a female at the Casino for her active drug paraphernalia warrant.

Evening Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded to S. Meckel Lane for a recovered stolen vehicle. The R/P stated a motorcycle was dropped off at his residence for mechanical work to be completed. He felt something was suspicious and called Bonner County who confirmed the motorcycle was reported stolen out of Sandpoint. The R/P had a confirmed warrant out of KCSO for FTA, however the R/P was not on scene when Deputies arrived however. Deputies were able to recover the stolen motorcycle. 20-41129

• Deputies responded to S. Highway 3 for a missing person. The R/P reported his wife who suffers from advanced Alzheimer’s had been secured inside the residence. She somehow was able to get out of the residence and left without the R/P knowing. SAR, Back County, Air 1, KCSO Drone team and K-9 responded to assist in the search. 20-41140

• Deputies responded to W. Box Canyon Road for a missing person. The R/P reported his father hadn’t been seen or heard from in approximately 16 days. Deputies completed a missing person report. 20-41120

Night Shift handled the following notable calls: • A Deputy stopped a car at Seltice x Corbin and arrested two subjects from the vehicle on their warrants. 20-41166

• A Deputy stopped a vehicle at 16th Ave x Highway 41. During the stop, he learned the vehicle was stolen from a wrecking yard in Spokane a year ago and was sold to the driver. The vehicle was towed and the driver released and he provided suspect information on who sold it to him. 20-41178
