Larry Lee Fuson

| September 23, 2020 1:00 AM

Larry Lee Fuson peacefully went home early Sunday morning, Aug. 23, 2020. He was born in Coeur d’Alene on July 25, 1949, where he was raised throughout Kootenai County.

He served in the U.S. Army and National Guard, which took him to Korea and many other places.

Larry was treasured among his family (brother, Randy Fuson; sister, Rita Fuson; two children: Amidy Fuson and Nick Fuson; four grandchildren: Hanna Walbrun, Nikki Balaszi, Acecia Balaszi and Sebastian Goetz; one great-grandchild: Bentley Walbrun; multiple uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews) and many friends.

Larry’s humor, wild spirit and loud personality will be cherished among all who knew him. He enjoyed camping, four wheeling, fixing old cars, playing pool, visiting (Larry knew no stranger) and spending as much time with family as possible. He enjoyed taking his kids and grandkids to Disneyland, as if he was a kid himself. He never missed a coffee or dinner date with his friends, where he told tall tales of times long ago.

He will be missed!

We all know that he is with his beloved wife, Judy Fuson and daughter, Jennifer Balaszi and many other family members, camping in the sky, looking down on us all.

Please come help honor Larry’s amazing life at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020, at English Funeral Chapel in Coeur d’Alene.
