Forestry short course coming to NIC

This fall, a six-session program, titled the Forestry Shortcourse, will help forest landowners understand forest ecology, silviculture, forest health, wildlife habitat, and other forestry topics.

The Forestry Shortcourse will be held Wednesday evenings, 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Nov. 4, 11, 18 and Dec. 2, 9, 16, 2020, in room 106 of the DeArmond Building at the North Idaho College.

The program is limited to 24 people and seating will be arranged to keep six feet between participants and masks are required.

Registration is $38. Those wishing to participate should pre-register by Oct. 28 at the University of Idaho Extension office in Kootenai County, 446-1680.
