Notable calls for the day!

Day Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Detectives located a female wanted for some thefts at a business near the old Fighting Creek gas station and she was taken into custody on PC for Grand Theft.

• Deputies took a report of a stolen "Biden/Harris 2020" sign from her front yard on N. 15th St.

• Deputies located a child that had been reported as a "runaway" from Twin Lakes Elementary.

• Deputies handled a crash at Hayden Ave. and Hwy 95. A female turned off Hwy 95, drove through the barriers in the construction and drove off the significant drop off and came to rest. The female stated she was very tired. The Deputy conducted his investigation and then transported her to KCPSB for a DRE evaluation. It was determined the female was under the influence of a CNS Depressant. She was charged with DUI drugs.

• Deputies handled a crash at Hanley and Government Way.

Evening Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded to N. 15th Street for a stolen vehicle. The R/P returned from vacation and noticed his vehicle had been taken without permission and involved in a crash and then returned to his residence. 20-40277

• Deputies responded to N. Boysenberry Loop for an auto burglary. The R/P reported a very expensive tool was missing from his vehicle last night. 20-40286

• A Deputy stopped a male at Seltice X Silkwood and charged him for DUI (.197/.199), open container, possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. 20-40309

Night Shift handled the following notable calls:

• County Units responded to Highway 41 south of Rathdrum to assist RPD in a pursuit of a DUI suspect. They tried to set spikes ahead of the pursuit but were not able to until it got on I90 westbound. Deputies had spikes at MM 6 but the vehicle got off at Seltice. County Units then had spikes set up at Idaho x Poleline but the vehicle stopped and the driver gave up before hitting the spikes

• A Deputy responded to the jail regarding drugs located in an inmate’s property. A male had turned in his prescription medication to jail staff and when it was being inspected by the nurse, she located a small amount of marijuana in one of the pill bottles. He was charged for PCS and possession of paraphernalia. 20-40332
